Sunken vessels continue to be raised in Egvekinot Bay

This year, five vessels are planned to be raised from the waters of the bay — barges and lighters that have lain on the seabed for many years. Two have already been brought ashore, while a third has been raised to the surface. A team of specialists continues to carry out the work. The remaining two vessels are scheduled to be raised by the end of the season. After dismantling, they will be sent for disposal.
