Sunken vessels continue to be raised in Egvekinot Bay
This year, five vessels are planned to be raised from the waters of the bay — barges and lighters that have lain on the seabed for many years. Two have already been brought ashore, while a third has been raised to the surface. A team of specialists continues to carry out the work. The remaining two vessels are scheduled to be raised by the end of the season. After dismantling, they will be sent for disposal.

Vladislav Kuznetsov Presented a Breakthrough Port Development Project for Provideniya at the Federation Council
The future of the Northern Sea Route (NSR), international cooperation, and the implementation of the large-scale Trans-Arctic Transport Corridor (TATC) were the key topics of the roundtable discussion "Development of the Northern Sea Route as a Strategic Alternative to Traditional Maritime Corridors," held on 21 July at the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. The event was chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev and Senator Anna Otke, a member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs.

Navigation 2026 is now open!
Cargo operations have begun at the Anadyr seaport with the unloading of the motor vessel FESCO Moneron, which has officially opened this year’s navigation season in the regional capital. The voyage from Vladivostok to Anadyr took 9 days.

The Kamchatka passenger boat has resumed service.
Starting 18 June, passenger transportation between Anadyr and Ugolnye Kopi is being operated by the Kamchatka passenger boat. The vessel can carry 50 passengers and will remain in service throughout the entire navigation season. Additional trips will be arranged if necessary.

On June 17, Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug Vladislav G. Kuznetsov delivered a presentation on Chukotka’s investment and economic potential at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event was attended by representatives of more than 70 countries, foreign and Russian media, members of the legislative and executive authorities, as well as business representatives, including JSC Anadyr Sea Port.
